The collective, relying on Coccinelle Studio, a company created to professionalize and regularize its activities organizes highly popular events, the best known of which remains "FABRIKA Fest", an annual 5-day international festival. # FABRIKA FEST The festival, focused on electronic music, is the first of its kind in Africa and the MENA region, where it is the largest, and aims to become an essential date on the calendar of major international festivals of the genre. FABRIKA attracts artists who are part of the cream of international DJs who are aligned with the best nuggets of the Tunisian national scene and thus offers a sharp musical line-up in an idyllic setting, between beach, hotel and artistic and visual installations. Thus, in addition to being a platform for promoting Tunisian artists and talents, FABRIKA is a unique entertainment offering that highlights proven local know-how, and which attracts festival-goers from all over the world. [Book Now For FBRK Fest 2024](https://fabrika.tunis.events/) # History ## Fabrika | February 2013 ### The collective was founded in February 2013 in Paris, with monthly events at the “Maison de la Fondation de Tunisie” and “the Cité Universitaire Internationale” in Paris. ## Fabrika | July 2013 ### In July 2013, the organization of "FABRIKA meets Friends" took place in Hammamet (12 hours, 300 attendees). ## FABRIKA | Dunes Électroniques ### In 2014, FABRIKA Collective performed at the first edition of the Dunes Électroniques ## Fabrika | 2016 ### In September 2016, FABRIKA organized an event in Gammarth (500 attendees, 4 international DJs, and 7 Tunisian DJs). ## Fabrika | 2017 ### In 2017, the company Coccinelle Studio was established to professionalize FABRIKA. ## Fabrika | Carpe Diem 2017 ### In July 2017, a FABRIKA event was held at Carpe Diem Tunis (900 attendees, 15 hours, 3 international DJs, and 8 local DJs). FABRIKA also organized "FABRIKA Connexion Experience," a panel and roundtable discussions bringing together stakeholders from the nightlife industry, which attracted several local and international specialized media such as Trax Mag, Mix Mag, Tsugi, People’s Beats, Beware... ## Fabrika | 2018 ### In 2018, "FABRIKA Journey," the first minimal electronic music festival in Africa and the MENA region, was held (3 days, 600 attendees, 14 DJs including three international, 50 hours of music, at Hotel El Fell Hammamet). ## Fabrika | 2019 ### In 2019, "FABRIKA Fest" featured 21 DJs including 9 international DJs, over 60 hours of music, 800 attendees, 3 days, a creators’ village, and various activities. ## Fabrika 10 | 2021 ### In 2021, FABRIKA FEST attracted 1,300 participants, with over 50 DJs including 9 international DJs, and over 80 hours of music. ## Fabrika 11 | 2022 ### In 2022, FABRIKA FEST attracted 1,800 participants, with over 56 DJs including 22 international DJs, and over 80 hours of music. Several events were organized in partnership with BSMNT the Club, with an average attendance of 800 people. ## Fabrika 12 | 2023 ### In 2023, several major events were organized in Tunisia, including one in partnership with YUKA which attracted 2,500 people, and the continuation of the partnership with BSMNT the Club. Events were also organized in Berlin at the prestigious Club der Visionaere, in Riyadh in partnership with MiddleBeast, and in London. ## Fabrika 13 | 2024 ### In 2024, FABRIKA Fest, held in early March, attracted 3,200 festival-goers, featured over 60 DJs, and now has 3 stages. The partnership with BSMNT continues (800 attendees/event), and new partnerships have formed including Lazy Club (600 attendees), FLO (1,700 attendees), and Club Gingembre (650 attendees).
